Domestic Adoptions
The Sacred Portion Children's Outreach can provide home studies for families wanting to adopt within the United States. This would be in cases of a direct parental placement where the couple is adopting a baby from a birth mother known to them and a lawyer has been hired to facilitate the placement. We cannot do home studies where the couple is using an unlicensed facilitator that matches prospective adoptive parents with expectant mothers, as this is illegal in Montana. We can also do home studies for families wanting to adopt from the foster care system in other states. Unfortunately, the State of Montana does not accept home studies done by private agencies such as ours for foster care adoption.
